I crossed the border on May 15, 22, are the 18 months of my legal stay in Poland counted from May 15 or from February 24?

Update: 20.06.2023

The stay of a citizen of Ukraine who arrived in Poland from the territory of Ukraine in connection with the hostilities conducted on the territory of Ukraine since February 24, 2022 is considered legal for a period of 18 months starting February 24, 2022, even if the said citizen’s entry into Poland occurred later.

It should be emphasized, however, that according to the amendment to the Special Act, the stay of Ukrainian citizens who legally came to Poland from February 24, 2022 in connection with the military operations in Ukraine until March 4, 2024 is considered legal.
